[edit] Wiki-centric vs. "social semantics"
I'd rather go for a "wiki-centric" workshop in the sense that it does not have a bias on social networks. Wikis can also be excellent authoring and browsing tools for a single user, and it's always the single user who takes the decision to become active and contribute something to a wiki, even if the wiki is run by a large community. Moreover, there was already a quite successful workshop on semantic social networks at ESWC 2007. That does not mean that I don't want any social semantics; quite the contrary, I'm sure that there are new insights of how to utilize the social semantics of wiki communities. --Christoph Lange 15:07, 20 November 2007 (CET)

- I strongly agree that we should add this to the topic list. I was just against the idea to have a workshop that only focuses on the social aspects. And by "non-social" topics I do not only mean wikis from the point of view of a single author, but also other things like e.g. knowledge representation, navigation, storage, … --Christoph Lange 11:35, 23 November 2007 (CET)
