Schengen zone

The Schengen zone consists of 15 European countries without some overseas parts: the Azores, Madeira and the Canary Islands are in the Schengen zone, the 4 DOM's of France are not.

It consists of the Eurozone without the 4 DOM's and without Ireland, plus Scandinavia and Iceland.

Below, for simplicity, we take the Schengen zone as located in Europe, thus counting the Azores, Madeira and the Canary Islands as located in Europe, as opposed to France for which "located in Europe" has been avoided.
