Property:Overlaps
From semanticweb.org
For regions P and Q "P overlaps Q" means that the regions P-Q (the set of all points of P which are not in Q) and Q-P are both non-empty. Thus it means P is partly located in Q, or equivalently Q is partly located in P.
It is also used if P is a class, and one or more instances of P are located in Q. This is like above, where the "region" associated with P is the set of locations of the instances of P. Similarly Q can be a class: one or more instances of Q are located in P, in other words P has a Q. The relation can perhaps also be used if P and Q are both classes.
Often a separate page for the intersection of P and Q, or for the instance(s) of P located in Q (if there is more than one: either a page for each or a common page) is preferable.
This relation is only used if that is not desirable.
