Property:Date of birth sortkey

This attribute serves as sortkey for the date of birth. It is not restricted to the date range of Property:Date of birth and allows incomplete dates such as just the year, or the year and the month. See Date-related tables.

For display it depends on what one wants to link. To avoid duplication in the displayed info, one can e.g. link to the year using Property:Born in year, and provide the additional info, if available, in Property:Birthday. If only the month is available, that can be the value of the latter attribute.

warning.pngThe following query conditions could not be considered due to the wikis restrictions in query size or depth: [[Died in year::*]], [[Day of death::*]].

Alternatives are linking also to the birthday (like Wikipedia does: April 30) or linking to a month, e.g. on Wikipedia that would be a link like April 1909.

Compare the deprecated Property:Year of birth for just years instead of full dates.
