Property:Affiliation
From semanticweb.org
Affiliations on semanticweb.org are considered to be very general relationships between one thing and another to which the first somehow "belongs". Typical examples are:
- persons might belong to organisations they work for. Use the more specific property member of in this case.
- Tools might belong to organisations, e.g. to the company that they are built by.
Note that both cases do not in detail specify the exact relation that the things have to each other (a tool might be sold, developed, co-developed, originally created by, &heliip; some organisation, and would be affiliatied in any case).
Other affiliations are possible to express similar general relationships.
