In the OntoCleanPaper example the property Contains is being used when one object is contained in another of the same type. e.g. the Geographical region British Isles contains Ireland, or the Political entity United Kingdom contains England.

When a Geographical region contains a Political entity the property is has political entity. The Political entity has the inverse property is has geographical location.
