Category:Deprecated annotations

Some pages within this wiki use semantic features in a deprecated way, that is not recommended for various reasons. Further details are usually found in the respective articles. Possible issues include:

  • Some users of Semantic MediaWiki want to experiment or illustrate some feature request. Others should then be warned that such pages are not interpreted as intended by the author. Those pages should be marked with Template:Deprecated annotations.
  • Some semantic annotations (relations, attibutes, categories, ...) have duplicates which should be used instead. Those pages should be marked with Template:Duplicate annotation.
  • Some semantic annotations are not recommended for other reasons, e.g. because they are not considered useful information or proper semantic modelling in the context of the current wiki. Those pages should be marked with Template:Deprecated annotation.

Note: those pages should not necessarily be deleted, since they might be considered helpful by some users. But they must be separated from the usual content of the productive parts of ontoworld.org. Also, pages of deprecated annotations help to document the fact that those annotations should not be used and the exact reason for this.
